Choosing the right school for your child is a big decision, and we would love to welcome you to Downsview Community Primary School to see what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow.
If your child is due to start Reception in September 2027, we are delighted to invite you to visit us and experience Downsview for yourself.
A more personal tour
This year, instead of holding large group tours, we are pleased to be able to offer individual tours with our Head of School.
We want families to have the opportunity to see the school properly, ask the questions that matter to them and get a real feel for life at Downsview.
During your visit, you will be able to:
- Tour our school and Reception learning environment
- See our children learning during a normal school day
- Find out more about how we help children settle into Reception
- Learn about our curriculum, values and wider opportunities
- Hear about the support we provide for every child
- Ask any questions you may have about starting school at Downsview
Most importantly, an individual tour gives us the chance to get to know you and your child, and gives you plenty of time to ask questions without feeling rushed.
When will tours take place?
Reception tours will be offered during Term 2, with the majority of appointments taking place throughout November.
A selection of dates and times will be available to book using the calendar below. We recommend booking early so that you can choose the appointment that works best for your family.
