Vision and Values
School Vision Statement
Our school vision has been created in collaboration with all members of the school community – pupils, parents, carers, staff and governors. It sets out the learning environment and community that we seek to build at Downsview:
Within a safe, caring, happy learning community we hear, recognise and value each unique individual. We are supported to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities to embrace challenge, aim high and be ready for the next stage in our individual and collective journey.
Together we can expand horizons, achieve more, and celebrate each success. Together we look beyond, reach further, and aim higher.
The Downsview Values
At Downsview, we seek to instil 6 values in all members of our school community. We believe that these values are universal and will provide our pupils with the strength of character that will empower them to access all of the opportunities that present themselves in the future and achieve whatever goals they set out to achieve.
Our Downsview Values are:

- We show respect through our words and actions

- We respect the rules of the school and laws of the country
